I now have a love/hate relationship with planks. I’ve been doing them pretty regularly this month and they are getting easier. That is the love part. Twenty seconds is not so hard anymore. The hate part is because twenty seconds isn’t bad, I am trying to go longer and try different styles. That’s when it gets tough!
I wasn’t feeling to motivated today, so I’m lucky I had a partner to help me stay focused. I didn’t know partner planks were a thing until I was looking for different variations to make it harder and tone different areas of the body.
We stuck with basic planks but he helped me hold the position much longer than I would have by myself. We held this one for over 40 seconds. His smile might be for real. Mine?…not so much. This was hard!
There are so many variations of planks you can do with your partner. After one failed attempt, we stuck with the basics today!
